NATUROTHERAPY
Experience informational, emotional, physical and spiritual support during your pregnancy, labour, birth
and postpartum period.
ALL KINDS OF SUPPORT
To create a new life, to grow it inside of your womb, and to birth it onto this earth is both the most common thing and a miracle all at once. It is truly one of the most precious times in a parent's life. Manon's Perinatal Naturotherapy services are non-medical and are designed to complement the care of your primary healthcare practitioner and prenatal classes. She aims to support you during pregnancy, as well as in the postpartum period, to help you create an empowering and meaningful experience so that you, your baby and your partner may have the best possible start together and the foundation of a lifelong relationship.
For many, becoming a parent does not without challenges and heartache, Manon is also available to support you during your conception and/or fertility journey.

Prenatal Sessions
The number of sessions and session content is highly variable based on client's needs. But typically, for first time parents 2-3 sessions is advisable. Sessions are normally scheduled between Week 20 and Week 36 of pregnancy, but can be done anytime. Some of the most common prenatal topics include:
-
Preparation for all stages & phases of labor
-
Preparing your birth plan/labor preferences
-
Natural comfort measures (whether you're aiming for an unmedicated birth or with epidural/meds)
-
Preparing your postpartum plan
-
Alleviating fears and supporting you through all your questions
-
Many more...

Postnatal Sessions
For the comfort of parents and baby, these sessions are offered in-home if desired (at no additional cost). While we are worlds away from an ideal postpartum care model where parents and babies are cared for in-home for weeks/months, Manon's aim is to bridge the gap a little bit. Commonly, at least 2-3 postnatal sessions are suggested, the first being the day after your return from the hospital and the second being about a week later, and the last one being within the first month of birth. Some of the most common postnatal topics include:
-
Support with common struggles (sleep, visitors, breastfeeding, baby-blues and mood fluctuations, postpartum self-care, etc.)
-
Debriefing from your labor and birth experience
-
Provide education and resources so that you feel confident in caring for your newborn
-
Referrals to other practitioners for parent or baby when needed (mental health therapist, lactation counsellor, osteopath, chiropractor, etc.)
-
Baby-wearing techniques
-
Facilitate bonding between parents and baby
-
Many more...
